Bowen therapy – isn’t just for us adults!

So quite often clients are surprised about how many children they see come to the clinic. Bowen therapy isn’t just for us adults you know!

A baby/child Bowen treatment is a very gentle experience. Treatment can be on the couch, a chair, parent’s lap or even playing with toys on the floor and generally take around 15-20 minutes.

However especially for children who have had to spend a lot of time at the Doctors or in hospital, coming into a clinic environment can often be a daunting prospect so when the weather allows sessions often take place outside feeding my chickens or going to see Annie the Donkey or Teddy the Polish shire horse!Continue reading

Sciatica is the name given to any sort of pain caused by irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve and describes the symptoms of leg pain—and possibly tingling, numbness, or weakness—that originate in the lower back and travel through the buttock and down the large sciatic nerve in the back of each leg.
